Our wonderful, wife, mum, grannie, sister, mother- in- law, auntie and friend, Kim Young very sadly passed away on 15th September 2022.

Most of Kim's adult life was spent providing the best care, kindness, guidance, love and heart felt warmth to children, not only just her own two children David and Emma, but many across the schools she worked in, Highfield, GSAL and Featherbank, over nearly four decades.

She constantly went over and above to give the hundreds of children  the very best educational and pastoral school experience and would glow with happiness when she saw these children approach (and often hug) her when they saw their beloved Mrs. Young outside of school.

Her particular passion, when not creating the many amazing school displays she made over the years, was literacy and the many many hours she put into listening to children read will undoubtedly have made a huge positive impact to them.

It is only fitting that Kim's legacy continues with your kind charitable donation to The Children's Literacy Charity. 

Their goal is to close the literacy gap for disadvantaged children, making sure that those who are the most behind are not left behind. We cannot think of a cause that would be more fitting.
