We are having to build some new compounds for the many disabled dogs we have taken in over the last couple of months. Animal SOS Sri Lanka is a pro-life organisation and because of that we take in many disabled dogs that need a lifeline. They deserve a chance.

There are very few no-kill facilities for animals like this in Sri Lanka. It really is a matter of life or death for these animals and that is why we have over 400 disabled dogs and requests to take in more every day of the week !

Disabled dogs need special tiled compounds so they don't get wounds. They can't be left dragging themselves around the sanctuary. The compounds we already have are already full with disabled dogs and overcrowding is detrimental to these animals that need to be kept clean and happy. 

We have therefore started to build more compounds for our latest intakes that we are having to keep in our busy clinics or rooms until they can be moved to the new compounds.

This is very urgent. However, we desperately need funds to cover these works as the charity is struggling with so many rescues and demands on us.
