Story

Please help Volunteering Matters to protect, and support communities during the COVID-19 crisis. Volunteering is a golden thread that will help us all get through the days, weeks and months ahead.

On Friday 19th June I'll be playing and live streaming horror games for 18 hours straight. I'm a big chicken so there will be plenty of screams, hiding, ducking and diving...

You can view me at www.twitch.tv/thesweeney47

We'll ease into the day with some Alien Isolation, a survival horror set in an atmosphere of constant dread and mortal danger. Fifteen years after the events of Alien™, Ellen Ripley’s daughter, Amanda enters a desperate battle for survival, on a mission to unravel the truth behind her mother's disappearance.

This will be followed by Layers of Fear, delve deep into the mind of an insane painter and discover the secret of his madness, as you walk through a vast and constantly changing Victorian-era mansion. Uncover the visions, fears and horrors that entwine the painter and finish the masterpiece he has strived so long to create.

We will be ending (hopefully!) on Outlast, considered one of the scariest games ever made. As investigative journalist Miles Upshur, explore Mount Massive Asylum and try to survive long enough to discover its terrible secret... if you dare.

These games will contain intense violence, gore, graphic content, jump scares and strong language so viewer discretion is strongly advised!
