The Kidunk X Caudwell LymeCo challenge.

During September at Kidunk we are setting our little adventurers a challenge as part of the Caudwell LymeCo Charity ’Walk, Ride or Climb for Lyme’ campaign.

Due to the Coronavirus and the cancellation of many sporting and fundraising challenges, like many other charities, Caudwell LymeCo are due to lose out on tens of thousands of pounds this year that would have been put towards Lyme disease research fund.  Their ability to carry out life-changing research to improve the lives of the thousands of people suffering with Lyme is vital, so we are looking at new, fun ways to help raise much needed funds and something the whole family can take part in!

The Dutty's will be walking, cycling and climbing a fell all with a distance of 3 miles. Matilda has just started to cycle on her own so this is a particularly big challenge for her. Fredi is going to run walk his 3 miles part of the walk challenge which he's very excited about!

Caudwell LymeCo Charity's mission is to fund research that finds an accurate test for Lyme disease, and a treatment that cures every patient.At the moment, neither of these things exist and many thousands of people are suffering in the UK, either unable to get help or treatment on the NHS, or they have just given up hope of being cured and are living with life-limiting symptoms .
