A whole group of us (Tash, Steve, Karen, Nick, Andy, Nik, Bev, Jim, Katrina, Oliver, Josh, Jamie, Mark, Bianca, Jagdeep, Ben and Beth) have set ourselves a target of 🚴‍♂️🚣‍♀️🏃‍♂️ or if we get injured 🚶‍♂️850km between us in September. We are raising funds for Blood Bikes after being inspired by Andy Lords volunteering and admitting that we aren’t trustworthy or safe enough (gutted) to actually ride a blood bike ourselves. But instead we are going to burn some calories and hopefully our wonderful network will step up and support us. 

Blood Bikes is an awesome charity entirely made up of volunteers who provide a totally free, but professional, service, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week for the transportation of Urgent and Emergency items, e.g. blood, platelets, samples, donor breast milk, patient notes, theatre equipment, in fact anything that can be carried by motorcycle, solely for the benefit of the publicly funded emergency services and the patients being treated by them, within the NHS Hospitals. Enabling hospital funding to be better spent on patient care.
