Cancer has taken many loved family and friends all over the world. I have lost a Nan, Aunty and many friends to this horrible disease but it has affected my life most in the past few years. My Dad was diagnosed with cancer in 2014.  After being diagnosed he had a major operation which was followed by lots of Chemo and also various experimental treatments to try and beat it. In mid November 2016,  after a long 2 year battle my Dad couldn't fight anymore. It has been a sad time coming to terms with the loss of my Dad and tough for all of my family as he was such a kind, well liked, family man who I spoke to everyday without fail. My Dad (Derek) loved watching football with his friends and would watch any game he could whether I was playing or not. 

There are many people in the same position as we are and have lost loved family members to cancer but we need to raise money to allow people to find new treatments. This may help prelong a persons life or even fight and kill cancer cells. Even if it's just a little please donate to an important cause Football for Cancer.

I'm really looking forward to playing in the football for cancer matches with lots of my current friends and players I haven't played in the same team as for years.
