Six years ago my beautiful daughter Kerry was diagnosed with breast cancer. Shortly after her diagnosis she decided to turn this into a positive and set up a fundraiser to raise money for The Little Princess Trust and Firefly Cancer Awareness. Thankfully Kerry was able to fight the disease and in 2017 she went into remission. However, sadly in 2019 the cancer returned and in June this year we lost our beautiful daughter. As many of you will know Kerry was a generous and caring soul always thinking about others even in her final days and I know that she would love to give something back to the people at St John's Hospice Tickhill that cared for her in her final days.
