For more than 20 years, Cass Community Social Services has responded to people living in areas of concentrated poverty with food, housing, health/mental health care and vocational programs. Today, the agency prepares and serves 700,000 meals annually, provides shelter and housing for 300 homeless men, women, and children nightly, offers two free medical clinics, and a day program for 130 adults with developmental disabilities, as well as jobs for over 80 unemployed adults.
