Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
On Sunday 1 March 2020, members of the Kelly family and their friends from all over the world will take part in a variety of sporting challenges to raise money for the Boom Foundation, a charity close to our hearts and for whose support we are so grateful.
What exactly are you doing?
Well, some of us will be swimming one mile, others will be taking part in a five mile walk, and others will be cycling 50 miles (that's from Carrickfergus to Lisburn and back!). Most of us aren't athletes, but we're challenging ourselves to do something fun and worthwhile - and break a sweat in the process.
"International?" Really?
Yes! We have family and friends from Ireland, Wales, Canada, the USA, Australia, New Zealand, Switzerland, and Spain all taking part.
Who are you fundraising for?
The Boom Foundation is the only charity in NI providing support for patients of sarcoma, a rare form of cancer that afflicted a family member in 2019. They spend half their money looking after people affected by sarcoma, and the other half is sent to Sarcoma UK to help fund vital research into the disease.
Anything you donate could make a big difference.
Thank you.
