This year I turn 40! Eeek!!!

Instead of buying me a birthday present this year I’m asking my friends and family to donate to anti slavery international. No adult or child should be exploited by someone else without being free to leave. Antislavery International is working hard to eradicate slavery around the world. Modern slavery is still a huge problem worldwide and across the UK and a cause that’s always been close to my heart. I wrote my MA dissertation in 2006 about how the UK can do more to support people who find themselves trafficked to the UK.  I’m also hoping this might raise a bit of awareness about this issue among my friends and family.
