Story
For those of you who don't know I lost my wonderful nephew Brett on 5th July 2014 following his battle with depression for a number of years. Brett was a talented, sensitive, caring young man and an incredible musician. He had an amazing sense of humour and the ability to make anyone laugh despite his own struggles.
Losing Brett has left our family heartbroken and devastated, yet determined to raise awareness of mental health issues and rid the stigma attached to such conditions. A good friend of Brett's has already done some fantastic fundraising in Brett's memory, and now it's my turn.....
On 14th December 2014 I will be doing a tandem skydive (eek!!) and have decided to try and raise money for Lancashire Mind as they work to create a better future for those with mental health problems and I think Brett would support the work they do. The skydive was bought for me by my fantastic husband as apparently I once said I'd like to do it....!!As this has already been paid for every penny raised is for the charity and every single donation no matter how small can make a real difference.
Huge thanks in advance - your support means more than you'll ever know x x x
