Story
Some of you may be aware that I am the Chair of the amazing charity Base 25 based in Wolverhampton.
Base 25 works with approximately 9000 children and young people and 1000 adults each year, providing programmes and projects aimed at improving the lives of young people, particularly those who are marginalised, vulnerable, or at risk, who find it difficult to access mainstream services.
Our core strength remains that we seek to work with young people in a “holistic” way, empowering them by responding directly to their needs, giving them the skills to identify pathways for making positive changes in their lives and giving them the tools and support to do it. Some examples of our areas of work include working with young fathers, young people suffering through exposure to domestic violence and our work with young people around harmful sexual behaviours.

This year we have been chosen as the main charity for the Wolverhampton Halloween Tattoo Bash!

Each year, the event holds a charity auction, and has raised over £33,000 so far over the last 6 years for local charities.
This year, Base25's Head of Service Alan Jarvis has designed me a specific tattoo that symbolises the organisation and that I've NOT EVEN SEEN YET!
I'm asking for sponsorship for me to get my first mystery tattoo all in aid of this fantastic organisation. Yes, I am pretty terrified!
Follow my Instagram to see me getting the tattoo on the day and witness the nerves/jitters/pathetic screams as it takes place:
