Story
Im doing this 100K in memory of a very sweet boy. His name was Morgan Falconer and he was my daughters friend. He was almost 16 and just before his G.C.S.E's were due to start he committed suicide. He was popular, clever, sensitive and warm hearted. No one had any idea he had any issues. His Dad set up a charity. The O.L.L.I.E foundation (one life lost is enough) to help prevent suicide in teenagers by providing training and mentors in schools. As many of you will know my dad commited suicide along with my nan when inwas just 16. It has effected my whole life. Unfortunately this seems more and more common now. And most people know someone that has took their lives or know of someone.
Im not the fitest or the fastest but i have a will of iron so by hook or by crook i will finish. I have set this page up later than i would have liked as i have problems with my feet and will have a operation at some point after the challenge. I have been given the all clear by my surgeon to do the 100K but in His words you will suffer for it. I have already done a 50k training walk and would love your support. Lets get more people talking about suicide.
Thank you all, Kaz
