Story

Kaye was a remarkable, brave young woman who fought for 17 years with cancer. Unfortunately she lost her fight at 10pm on 29th May surrounded by her family.

She was a true fighter who’s life was taken far too young at the age of 33. She had lots of love for her family, close friends and her dog Cookie. She fought for the last couple of years to remain working as she said it gives her a purpose and something to focus on. She loved life and was always the first one to join in with dressing up for children in need and Halloween amongst others.  Making the effort even when in a lot of pain.

While she was still at work she started to fundraise for a new charity close to her heart, for people struggling with a cancer she also struggled with, Salivary Gland Cancer.  She did various fundraising for the charity and we thought it a fitting tribute to raise money in her honour for the charity she tried to help whilst with us.
