I am a Young Adult Carers' Officer working for B&NES Carers Centre with young carers aged 14 - 25. B&NES Carers Centre is a charity which provides much needed breaks and support to unpaid carers of all ages. Carers often call the charity a 'lifeline' as it helps give carers some time for themselves away from their caring role - a simple thing which can often mean the difference between coping and struggling. So I'm raising money for this really great cause to enable the large number of carers across Bath and North East Somerset to continue caring with the support that they need. Carers give so much of their time to caring, many care full-time and are unable to work - what they do is amazing and inspiring and they deserve something in return.
