I'm accompanying a small youth group from Penzance on this midnight walk to raise money and awareness for the Fishermen's mission, the only national charity that cares specifically for fishermen and their families. They have a centre down the road in Newlyn.

The money raised will help provide emergency assistance, support bereaved families of fishermen lost at sea, encourage safety-consciousness amongst active fishermen, and alleviate poverty and loneliness among the elderly.
