Story
Back in September 2020, I decided to start losing weight as it had piled on through lockdown and I decided that enough was enough! At this time I pledged that for every pound that I lost, I would give £1 to Sandbach Animal Rescue Society (SARS), without knowing quite how much I needed to shed!
SARS rehome cats and kittens across Cheshire and have managed to remain open over the last year, even though the majority of their usual fundraising events could no longer go ahead due to the various restrictions that have been in place. The monthly running fees are in the region of £5000, so I have decided to make this public fundraiser to help us meet this requirement.
As of the 14th April 2021, I have lost a total of 6st (84 pounds) - this leaves me with a little over a stone left to go, but it's getting a lot more difficult now, so I need your help and motivation!
Please sponsor my 100lb loss to keep me focused on my goal and to help raise much needed funds for SARS. I have been volunteering with this group for almost 3 years and can truly say that they do an absolutely amazing job with every cat and kitten that comes into their care, no matter how many sleepless nights it involves! Head over to their website for more information on what they do: https://www.sandbachanimalrescue.co.uk/.
I have been losing weight on the 1:1 Cambridge Plan and my lovely consultant Caroline has offered to donate £10 to the cause if anyone feels inspired and becomes a client before I hit my target. She takes clients from all over the UK, here's her page: https://www.one2onediet.com/consultants/25521/1/Caroline.
