As Kate’s family, it’s with great sadness and heartbreak that we must announce that in strength and dignity, Kate sadly passed away following her long, courageous and brave battle.

Katie was passionate about all animals, an advocate and supporter of animal welfare. She loved hedgehogs and promoted everything to help save Britain's loved and endangered species.

As her family, we would therefore appreciate donations in her memory to the British Hedgehog Preservation Society as know how important this charity was to her and how she'd love for it to be supported and promoted!
