What am I doing?
In under 1 weeks time I will be climbing Mount Kilimanjaro to raise money for the Meningitis Trust, which is Africa’s highest peak measuring in at 5895m. It is also the highest freestanding mountain in the world. Huge permanent glaciers flow from its snow-capped summit, which rises high above the dusty plains - terrain that promises to push my limits both physically and mentally. I have already completed the 'Inca Trail' in Peru as training, and I am now eager to reach the pinnacle of Kilimanjaro.
Why I am raising money for Meningitis?

Nearly two years ago, a very dear friend lost her sister, Nakita, to Meningitis. Witnessing the effect of her loss on family and friends was devastating. At the time, all I (or anyone) could offer was emotional support and words of kind.
Nothing will bring Nakita back, but my actions now (and your generosity), could change the outcome of somebody else's story.
I have chosen to climb Mount Kilimanjaro to achieve for a cause that, i have faith you will agree, is in need of wider recognition, understanding, and support. The money will be directly donated to The Meningitis Trust so that the funds raised will help others in need. Please follow the link below for further infomation on how the charity would help our loved ones:
