We work with local communities in Uganda to improve education and quality of life.

Story

In July 2015 I will be travelling out to Uganda with a group of Leeds RAG volunteers to help to build/refurbish a school for the local children. Schools in Uganda are often overcrowded with class sizes of up to 100 children, so doing this will give each child the chance for better education.

Soft Power Education is a charity which provides schools in Uganda with money to pay for building equipment/builders wages. Even just £2.50 can buy 100 bricks, and £10 can pay a builders wages for a week.

I aim to raise £700 to go directly to Soft Power Education (none of this money goes to my flights/accommodation). Please donate - it only takes a moment & every penny really does help!

Thank you :-)
