Story
Many of you will know that our Dad is currently battling terminal gallbladder cancer. As part of his care and restpite he has been spending time at the Michael Sobell Hospice at Mount Vernon Hospital. The hospice cares for people with life limiting illnesses and provides support to the families and loved ones. The hospice is a charity which is largely run by a dedicated group of volunteers as well as a small group of paid staff. Michael Sobells main aim is to ensure that every patient should experience a journey towards the end of their life that is peaceful, comfortable and free from worry and pain.
To show our appreciation for all the hospice has done for our Dad so far we are having a charity golf day to raise money. 25 of our dads closest friends and family will be taking part in an 18 hole golf day to try and raise as much money as possible.
Any donation will be greatly appreciated.
