Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
Watching a child grow up is one of the most joyous things in life. However, when our daughter Annabelle was 3 years old she wasn't talking, potty training or meeting any of the milestones a child should. She struggled to make friends and socially interact with others. At age 4 she was diagnosed with autism so we became worried about what the future will hold for her. Autism NI helps people and families who have autism with practical and emotional support from training and groups for parents to finding jobs for adults with ASD diagnosis. Lockdown has been extremely difficult for people with autism who have not had access to any of their therapies or support groups. I have decided to shave my head to raise money for this amazing charity and to help awareness for autism. Please spare a few pounds and help provide support and services for the growing autism community in Northern Ireland.
Much love
Kathy xx
UPDATE: The shave was braved! Thank you to everyone for your generous donations. See photos for the transition from long blonde locks to a shaved head.
