When I graduated from high school 15 (!) years ago, I devised wild plans to cycle across Europe with my friends Michelle and Sarah. 17 year olds aren't very good at planning or budgeting so the trip was diverted to the realm of dreams and one-days. Only a few years later, we lost Michelle tragically early in her life to complications from lupus. I won't be cycling Europe without my friend, but this one across Canada is for you Michelle!
