Story

Allô!

At the end of September 120 people will be cycling from Marble Arch to Arc de Triomphe as part of a charity fund-raiser for O2E, a charity that encourages "ordinary" people (yes, that includes us) to achieve something "extraordinary" (we think that cycling from our front door all the way to Paris would fall into this category).

In a completely bike-less and brake-less moment of madness, I decided to join Tonto in taking part in this 'little' journey. The dream was to follow in the footsteps of Wiggo and hope for Olympic success but with no road cycling experience, let alone a bike, the reality was somewhat different.

As well as buying a bike for starters, recent rides to Brighton, 2 punctures, 1 buckled wheel, many subsequent scabs from ridiculously-placed gutters have formed part of our preparations (and geographical awareness) for the grand jour!

SO, as we don our lycra, hop on the bike and prepare to pedal a la Paris, we peddle our winsome plea to reach deep into your pockets/wallets/sofa-cushions for any very-welcomed donations for this cause.  And as much as anything else, your continued support and encouragement will motivate us along every push of the way!

Merci infiniment!
