Sadly Kate was taken from us far too early at the age of only 47.  She was a passionate supporter of the BHWT, and between 2015 and 2020 was the Berkshire coordinator for the charity.  During her tenure the region saved 7,000 hens from slaughter and raised nearly £35,000 for the charity.  It would be a fitting send off to her if we could raise some money in her name.
