Mia was 1½ yrs old when diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia. After 2½ yrs of treatment Mia was given the all clear, but 7 months later Mia’s cancer returned & had to have a bone marrow transplant. In-between treatment & hospital stays, Mia was fortunate enough to have a holiday which she thoroughly enjoyed. The family set up a charity to purchase a holiday home, which they did in 2017 to provide holidays to other families affected by childhood cancer. The charity need to raise £5,000 a year to continue providing these holidays.
