Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page, I really appreciate it.
Pancreatic cancer is the most aggressive and destructive form of cancer that the world has seen; survival rates at the five-year point of people who suffer from it are just 5%; most people who are diagnosed with it pass away within a year.
The most common treatments for pancreatic cancer are chemotherapy and radiotherapy. There are other new forms of treatment which I hope are going to save lives; the Telovac trial uses the GV1001 vaccine to combat pancreatic cancer in patients who have the disease; the CyberKnife treatment uses non-invasive laser treatment to shrink tumours.
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more money, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
Whatever you can give will be really appreciated by the thousands of people across the UK, and the millions of people across the world, who suffer pain and die because of pancreatic cancer. You’ll also give be giving hope to people who at some point will be unlucky enough to be affected by it.
