Sadly, the number of loved ones I've lost to cancer continues to grow.  One in three of us will get cancer.  Two million of us are living it.  We are all affected by cancer. 

MacMillan provide practical, medical and financial support and push for better cancer care.  Without the money, time and energy of their supporters, they couldn't help people facing the toughest fight of their lives.

On 10th August 2014 I'll face the toughest physical challenge of my life, so far, as I follow the Olympic route 100 miles through London and Surrey in an effort to raise money for MacMillan Cancer Care.  When it gets tough, I'll remember the battles fought by my dad and by Melv.  I'll dig in and I'll keep going because my pain will be nothing compared to the pain they both endured.

So, dig deep please people...for me, for you, for them.  We are MacMillan and I hope that by raising lots of money MacMillan Cancer Care will continue to support families like mine, and yours, through their darkest days.
