Story

As 1 of the lucky final 12 finalists in Strictly NHS I feel very proud and lucky to be participating in this amazing event. I still can’t believe this is happening it really is a dream come true. I am such a fan of Strictly and all it entails dancing really does bring joy and happiness so this event is going to be amazing and as part of this I want to raise as much money as I can. So from 1st January 2021  I will be taking on a monthly challenge. I will post these in our updates on this page. ☺️

Jake and I have created a team name with the amazing help of friends and family. Our team name is ....

Team Appassionnata with a bit of Kake! The name probably needs a bit of explanation so here goes...

Appassionnata is a piano concerto by Beethoven and means passionate. It is a beautiful piece of music. Jake and I both agree we are very passionate about dance. But also Beth my youngest daughter who died in 2019 was  a passionate girl and this describes her . Also if you look at the name Beethoven you can find Beth. So a perfect way of including my beautiful Beth in our team name. Adding a bit of Kake is a combo of mine and Jake’s name. Everyone likes Kake and it adds the bit of fun getting mine and Jake’s fun side. A team name that has everything we think. We hope you like it.😊

Watch out for other future challenges as we will be fundraising until the Strictly NHS live event later this year

Thank you for reading my story, you will be able to follow my story on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram and there will be the opportunity to come and watch the show at the Empress Ballroom Blackpool
