I am fundraising for the Visits with Mom Program, part of Prisoner & Family Ministry at Lutheran Social Services of Illinois. For all of the children in this program, this is realistically the only way they can see or visit their moms who are imprisoned in an Illinois prison.  Although the buses haven't been running during the pandemic, LSSI has been supporting remote visits via Zoom, and working closely with prison officials to restart in-person visits as soon as they are allowed. LSSI's goal is to provide quarterly bus trips.
