Kara was wanting to have her hair cut and when she said how short she wanted to go I said she could help other children by donating the hair she was getting cut off - as we had just learnt from a friend who has just done the same.

once Kara has had her hair chopped we will send it to The Little Princess Trust - which accepts donations of hair of 7 inches (or 17cm) or longer and sends them off to be made into wigs for children with cancer.

Making these wigs can cost up to £350 so we thought we could get Kara sponsored for her big hair cut and put what is raised towards the charity too and hopefully make a child somewhere very happy.

Please spread the word as Kara would love to get to her fundraising target.

The cut will take place towards end of September and we will post photos of her with short hair then - it has been a long time since it was short ;-)
