The birth Kai and Theo, our twin boys, has been life changing. We have felt great joy, elation, utter exhaustion and overwhelming happiness. December 28^th 2020 was the beginning of their new lives and all the hopes, dreams and opportunities that we as parents look forward to giving them. We are fortunate to know their lives will be blessed with love and security.  

Whilst Kai and Theo have been blessed with good health, not every baby is. Many are born too soon and too small. Right now, in 2021, newborn mortality in Vietnam accounts for 70% of all infant deaths. 80% of neonatal deaths are preventable. That’s a child never seeing their first birthday, it’s a mother and father going home with a wound in their hearts that will never fully heal.

Newborns Vietnam’s mission is to see that number go from 80% to 0%, they want to replace parent’s pain and loss with happy healthy babies.
