Thank you for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.
Knight Frank Promise is encouraging as many tenants as we can in our buildings to participate in Green Jumper Day on the 14th October. We’ll be turning the heating down a few degrees, so keep warm, wear a green jumper (or green accessory), and contribute £2 to charity. If you are working from home that day, turn your own heating down a couple of degrees too.
Green Jumper Day, is an annual event taking action against climate change. On the 14th October, this year, all involved will turn down the heating, save energy, save money, wear a woolly jumper to keep warm (a green one if they have one), and donate to the Green Jumper charity.
The aim is to make a dent in energy usage, and save tonnes of carbon being emitted into the atmosphere on the day itself, but more importantly Green Jumper Day is about raising awareness about what steps we can all take, big and small, to help mitigate climate change. Knight Frank Promise will be measuring the energy saved across our portfolio for the day.
The charity’s strapline is “…for the next generation”, so the money raised is split between giving away free books and educational materials (all about climate change and sustainability) to schools and on reforestation and rewilding projects.
