This page has been set up by the Department of Art History, Curating and Visual Studies at the University of Birmingham in memory of their dear colleague and friend, Dr Jutta Vinzent who passed away in November 2021. 

Jutta was a member of the department for twenty years and was a specialist in modern and contemporary art with a specific focus on issues of migration and mobility, and on art and curatorial practices. She was passionate about teaching and extremely dedicated to her students and in particular played a key role in the conception and delivery of our MA programmes. Through the donations received on this page we would like to keep Jutta's memory alive by creating a prize in her honour for the best MA dissertation.
