Just Rise #CHALLENGE26!

Just Love durham has chosen to support West End Refugee Service (WERS) because we agree that refugees and asylum seekers have a right to feel welcomed and integrated into society. This Newcastle based charity seeks to provide opportunities and bring about positive change to those seeking asylum in Tyneside. We have seen the work that WERS does and believe it to be something that we, as Just Love Durham, want to see make as big an impact as possible on the lives of these innocent people fleeing terrible situations.

As of 2021 the UNHCR approximated there are 26.6 million refugees worldwide and so we have decided to base our fundraiser off ideas relating to the number 26.
