Story
SASH is a youth homelessness charity that works across York, North and East Yorkshire.
They help young people aged 16-25 who are facing homelessness.
They offer accommodation through Nightstop and Supported Lodgings services, which rely on volunteer ‘hosts’ who offer a spare room in their own home. Their services are as much about supporting young people to resolve the problems which have led to young people becoming homeless as they are about putting a roof over their head. Part of this support is provided through the SASH Active programme
I used the SASH service back in 2012 where SASH allowed me to find my feet again. I wouldn't be where I am today without them.
So we've made a pledge to support SASH wherever we can, so this year we're taking part in a sleepout to raise money!
