Story
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
It's been a long lockdown and the 23rd scout troop - including beavers, rainbows, cubs, guides and explorers - have not been able to raise funds through the usual community-focussed jumble sales, bag-packing etc. This has starved them of funding for minibus maintenance, weekend camps, orienteering competitions and other essentials that enable our youngsters to enjoy the rich outdoors experiences that are so important to their development.
Meanwhile, I have managed very successfully to annoy many people by becoming a shaggy monster. Actually, the look has kind of grown on me if you'll pardon the pun, but I am willing to bet that some people will happily pay for me to shave it all off and return to whatever normal is.
So here is the challenge. In return for you egging me on, I will have it all shaved off publicly on the 16th December, the last day of Scout term. I assure you I will find this toe-curlingly embarrassing.
If you dont help reach the target then I will just have to go on annoying people with toes uncurled. I will post the "after" picture here or send to your email address if you leave it onsite.
Please feel free to share the page.
