I have been privileged to work with Child Action Lanka since 2016, and have visited their bases and seen their amazing work first hand.  The background stories to the children and families who they support are tough, and the levels of poverty and situational challenges are hard, but CAL is making the difference, ensuring children are receiving education, health care and good nutrition.  Crucially, their belief in each and every child is inspirational, particularly in empowering girls to aim high and to grow into young women who can live successful, independent lives.  

We have three amazing boys, of whom I am immensely proud.  However, this fund will go towards ensuring one bright girl is able to break from the cycle of poverty, and access the education and support she needs in Sri Lanka.  I'm so grateful for anything you can give in lieu of birthday presents.
