Ian sadly passed away at St Lukes in March 2018 aged 51 after a long illness. The family feel very grateful for the care, support and dignity given to Ian.

Ian was a key figure in the community at large and was the driving force behind the St Mellion Cycling Group, raising several thousand pounds for the local school and community. 

He was a great organiser and motivator and made things happen. He encouraged those of us who would never have contemplated a 'coast to coast' cycle ride to get on our bikes. Time with Ian involved a laugh, a joke and always a cafe!

So St Mellion Cycling Group are pedalling  across Dartmoor, completing two rides over two days on the weekend of 28th/29th September 2019.

His family and friends wanted to show thanks and to raise money to help St Lukes continue their amazing work..
