The Hospice helps people to live their precious lives well. Our care has many forms – at home, in our outpatient Spring Centre or through specialised care in one of our Hospice beds - and is defined by each person's need. We rely on donations to raise the £6m we need each year to fund our free care.

Story

I am blessed with a healthy family. But, sometimes life can take you unaware and deal you a cruel blow that shatters your family core.

Losing a loved one to a terminal illness is hard to deal for the entire family, but thanks to places like the Hospice of St Francis, having a place to end the journey of life with dignity, care and comfort of family around you, makes life that bit easier to understand and cope with.

Care is free to patients, and can be given at home or at the Hospice It therefore relies on the voluntary donations to run the hospice at a cost of £4 million each year.

My £750 could pay to keep a Specialist Home Care Nurse on the road for 3 months, or pay for 18 months of bereavement support for a family member coping with the loss of a loved one.

Thank you in advance for your kind donations xxx
