Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit our JustGiving page.

As many of you know the last few years have been very tough for us as a family. I now feel ready to help to make a difference and say Thank You to a charity that I reached out to, who supported me as a desperate Mum and guided me through the worst possible times. I was not local to the area for this charity, none the less they were there and still are there if I ever need them. What they stand for, the first-hand experience they have and their ethos shows they truly understand what is needed to help, support, educate and raise awareness.

Simon (to those who don’t know him, is my younger brother who has a fear of heights!) has agreed to join me in climbing the O2 on December 19th to raise money for SEED Eating Disorder Charity (Support and Empathy for people with Eating Disorders).

SEED’s mission is to create a facility that provides suffers and carers alike with confidential, independent and non-judgemental advice and support, to ensure that carers and sufferers are aided by the best possible network of care and support to facilitate recovery.

Those of you that know me well, will know on 2nd January I have a special birthday! Please can I kindly ask instead of sending me any cards or gifts I would really love and appreciate you donating to this fundraising instead. Getting funds to this amazing charity is the most important thing for me, I don’t need anything I have all I need.

This will be a challenge for us both, but nothing compared to the challenge Chloe has faced over the last 2 years and that she deals with on a daily basis.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
