Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

This year as like any other year I started the clear out of my sons room in preparation for Santa coming and making space for all their new toys. When I found myself packing toys and board games into a bag that I put aside for the charity shop. These toys my sons received as gifts last year from all of there family, these gifts hadn’t been opened or played with. I had to stop and ask myself why? Why was I just giving toys away to make space for new ones that I would probably do the same thing with next year? Yes a child will benefit from these toys which is a great thing however what am I teaching my boys, that it’s ok just to disregard things in your life that you no longer want or need as long as you get something in return?  I am in a very blessed and lucky place in my life At the moment  and have my children which I am extremely grateful for. So this year I ask my friends and family instead of putting your selfs under pressure to buy gifts for my boys which are very much appreciated and we thank you for ur kindness would you be able to donate to this fantastic cause even 1 pound will go along way to helping a family who have suffered the unspeakable and lost a child. My boys will have all they need and a very special Christmas they aren’t missing out.

And the hope in this message is that to in some way try and relieve the burden of stress and worry about buying gifts, Christmas isn’t about what you can get or for you to worry if you are unable to afford gifts. So please I ask instead of gifting my children with toys and gifts please donate 1 pound to this wonderful charity

I personally will be having a lovely Christmas dinner with my family which is the most important part it’s what it’s all about and that alone is a reason to feel blessed because there are many people who don’t have that.

We wish you all a very merry Christmas and happy new year.
