We've loved having our girls live with us - Daisy, Winnie, Nellie, Annie and Tilly over the past two years.  Sadly Annie and Tilly are no longer with us but watching how they've all grown from being scrappy hens after living in tiny cages, into strong, healthy, happy chickens, has been just wonderful and uplifting.  Seeing a chicken spread and flap her wings in the sunshine, probably for the first time in her life, is fantastic.  Chickens are just chickens and they live life to the full - when they're given the opportunity.

British Hen Welfare Trust are a great organisation helping so many hens - and - so many people who are getting so much pleasure - and eggs!!
