My amazing husband, my rock, died suddenly, without warning, on the morning of 10th August. In our home that night, sleeping peacefully throughout, were his two sons (aged 7 and 5years) and a 4 month old baby that he and I were fostering. 

Dave was known for many things, including his strong Christian faith, gentleness & a passion for justice, but the thing about Dave that most impressed many of those he met, was his commitment to and ability to lovingly parent both his birth,  and foster children,  well.

Home for Good is a charity dedicated to finding a home for every child who needs one by co-ordinating and resourcing a rapidly growing network of people, churches and local movements across the UK who are raising awareness of the needs of vulnerable children and young people, inspiring individuals to explore fostering and adoption and equipping churches to understand and support.

I am fundraising for Home for Good in his memory because this world needs more parenting like Dave's, particularly for the most vulnerable in our society. Please help me to ensure that more is able to be done to ensure that a home is found for every child that needs one. 

My goal is a high 2000 to match our son Sam's declaration that "Twenty Hundred people loved Daddy".
