Story
As a Board member for Fit 4 the Cause (F4TC) for the last three years, I have seen how this small non-profit has had a huge impact on its beneficiaries and, by extension, our community.
Fitness and health are dearly important to me, and I want to help those who don't have access to quality fitness programs in our community to be able to maintain their health through exercise and nutrition.
That's where Fit 4 the Cause comes in.
Despite restrictions due to the pandemic, Fit 4 the Cause mitigated isolation anxiety, stress, obesity, and fear by providing daily classes to our beneficiaries and community over the last year.
Our super-active non-profit organization is in dire need of funding now, to cover our high-quality program costs, which include top-notch licensed instructors, insurance, communication, and compliance.
2020 didn't allow for our usual active fun-raising shenanigans like muddy runs, 5000-meter swims, knockout boxing bonanzas, and four-event races.
ON AUGUST 15TH, MY FELLOW BOARD MEMBERS AND I ARE CELEBRATING OUR RETURN TO "FUN RAISING" BY JUMPING IN THE LAKE! (But not literally jumping.) We will be kayaking around Westlake to raise money and awareness for F4TC.
Crowdfunding through our kayak laps around Westlake, we are committing to the GREAT KAYAK COMEBACK. Our "Yak Attack" paddling participants will commit to distance and speed, and we are hoping that you'll support this Cardi-Yak oriented effort. (The "yak" puns never end!)
Thank you very much in advance for your support!
P.S. F4TC will continue its H20 theme throughout 2022, with our Gala set for May 7th, 2022, at The Westlake Yacht Club. I will see you there!
