Story
On Thursday 30th July 2020 my nephew, Joshua Peters, lost his battle against Grade 4 Glioblastoma, the most common high grade primary brain tumour in adults which rarely occurs in children. He was aged 15.
Since falling ill less than 2 years ago, Joshua strived to live life to the full, together with making everybody around him laugh and smile with his unbelievable wit and humour. He achieved this, not only with love and support of his family but with the amazing love and support we all got from everyone at Helen & Douglas House.
Helen & Douglas House helps families who have children with terminal illnesses by giving them and their families expert care and support. Unfortunately there is a huge cost associated with this as they require £3.6 million per year to run the hospice with 85% of this figure coming from donations.
Joshua was never really a fan of flowers so we would like to ask if you would make a donation to Helen & Douglas House so they can continue to help bring comfort and support to other families who are going through every parent's worst nightmare.
Thanks for taking the time to read this and a massive thank you to all those who donate to this wonderful cause.
