Tragically, on the 29th October 2020, 15 year old Joseph Marafini lost his life to knife crime. 

At his primary school, he is remembered as the well-liked and smart witted kid who would stick up for anyone. More recently, Joseph was a keen boxer and regularly attended sessions at Carney's Community Centre; a youth charity which works with young disadvantaged people to help them realise their potential. 

Carney's engage young people through activities, such as boxing and mentoring. Throughout lockdown and COVID, they have also continued to support young people in the local community; providing boxing and fitness sessions, mentoring and hot meals. 

Carney's meant a lot to Joseph. With permission from his close family, this page has been setup to try and raise funds to support Carney's Community in honour of Joseph.
