On the 8th June this year both the girls will be cutting there hair and sending it to The Little Princess Trust. A charity that helps young children who have lost their hair due to cancer treatment or other conditions and gives them some hope by making and fitting them with a wig.

Whilst the girls are sending their hair to The Little princess Trust, they will be fundraising for a charity called Cherry Lodge Cancer Care. A charity that not only helped, but become a big part of their Auntie Amanda's life before she passed away last April.

Any donations big or small would mean the world to us.

As a local businesswoman Amanda became a valued trustee of Cherry Lodge.  She was very much an active Trustee who gave a great amount of time and interest in our charity shop in Barnet. Amanda also helped with fundraising events.

Cherry Lodge Cancer Care is local charity that exists to enhance and complement the treatment given to people living with cancer, their carers, family, and friends, within and around the London Borough of Barnet and South Hertfordshire.  

Cherry Lodge does not receive any government funding and relies purely on community fundraising so we are extremely grateful to Jorja and Billie for cutting their hair.

Cherry Lodge offers care and comfort for people on their cancer journey, by providing easy access to specialist information, support, and complementary therapies. Our aim is to improve quality of life, to promote well-being and to encourage a strong resolve for self-help. The service is designed to be person-centred, non-judgemental, and available to all in need, on request, completely free of charge for as long as it is required.
