Story

In 2015 my dad was involved in a motocross accident that resulted in him being paralysed from the chest down. With this type of injury the results are most likely life changing and the recovery / rehab process certainly is a long one.

With that in mind, there are a lot of emotions and challenges that are faced along the way. However, the team at the spinal ward in Queen Elizabeth Hospital were absolutely amazing with their great support for patients and genuine care for their wellbeing allowing people like my dad to continue a great, independent life. The surgeons, the nurses, the physios all do their absolute best to get you back to as much normality as they physically can.

The positivity the emit made a great environment within the rehab unit and if youve got a stuborn personality (like my dad 😇) they will not give up until they've achieved the best they can.

So I guess, really, I'm wanting to raise some money for a great cause that has personally helped my family tremendously and allowed us to adapt and continue as a family 👪.

With that said, I am going to be rowing 5km a day for the month of may on my indoor rowing machine to set myself a challenge to try and overcome it like the staff in the spinal ward are continuously doing for many patients around the UK everyday.

Any donations will be greatly appreciated!

Many thanks

Jordan
