On Thursday 11 October 2018 we lost this wonderful man to breast cancer.

Understated and much loved. He never wanted to be in the limelight, never wanted a fuss made of him, but was the centre of everything.

We take great comfort from the fact that we had no regrets.

Nothing unsaid or undone. Nothing said or done we wished we hadn’t.

And nowhere he’d rather be in his final days and weeks than snuggled up at home with his little family. He was at home right up until just 4 hours before he died.

We are asking that instead of flowers, people consider a donation to SeeSaw. They are helping us to explain bereavement to the children and handle it on an ongoing basis. They are wonderful.

“For anyone reading this, I hope it brings you some degree of comfort

knowing that I’m not angry, and that I am at ease with the situation I found myself in.

Of course there is sadness, on what I will miss out on in the future and how that might affect those closest to me, but there’s nothing I or anyone else could do about that. For all that has been in my control, there are no regrets.

Only pride and happiness and a lot of love for you all that will live on forever.”
